Westies don't have the best temper

they're not known for their temperament. I own a westie and they fight with other dogs like i own another miniature dachund and he likes fighting with her and he's defensive but it's not a terrible problem. and yes they really love you and love children. they won't try to herd it.

Westies are the best dogs ever. Great with people and kids. Reallly love you. I'd never get another dog. They've got Alot of personality, most amazing smart little dog ever. I've never own another kind. If you get the westie as a puppy, he/she will be able to work things out with the cat. You'll love it!

hi guys. can someone with experience of a westie please tell me if they have a good temperament? we're considering getting one in the next couple of months. also, we have an eight year old cat so would it be fair on both of them to live together? thank you
