If you can relate, then yes. If, however, you are a person of thought rather than emotion you'll probably find the ending pretty lame because it's sort of random. Most people still cry or get emotional though...

Well, it's the most sad anime I've ever seen, by far. Especially the ending. Just to give you an idea how sad it is, Fullmetal Alchemist's "Words of Farewell" was a very distant second.
