No it is the fault of the gym as they don't want instructors correcting bad technique.

Personally I find body pump very dangerous, just the other day I observed a guy with too much ego and no physical strength doing abs with a 10 kg weight but instead of using his abs he was using his neck. He is going to cause himself a serious injury.I have reached the maximum safe weight for pump classes and so see no point in doing them. Face it they are designed for body builders not people who want to get strong.

I am a pump instructor and I do a few of the classes and to be completely honest, the only people I ever see who aren't being challenged by the workout are those who don't put their weight up or take higher options.

No just above average. I look around there classes and people on the whole don't look tired.

Too much Les Mills and not enough Freestyle. It's just like McDonalds, more of the same and no choice. Give us back the good stuff!!!!! Haven't been to a group fitness class in months because there is nothing but Les Mills to choose from. I'd rather go on the treadmill or swim laps.
