Brilliantly conducted interview. It made me look at Westboro in a different light. Although I still completely disagree with nearly everything they say and all their views and ideals, they are the only Church that remains 100% true to their bible.

There is no argument, god is good or not good. That is neither here nor there. Can we live in this world together? People who are detrimental to the health of society as a global whole will always exist as they always have. People like Shirley will put in stark relief that the essence of religion and therefore the essence of humanity as homo religioso is simply compassion. There is no religion worth having that is not compassionate and does not help to bring the community together.
