i love this song--its just so---i melt---it really gets to me how well he plays the guitar and how it just flows with the words--you have to love a guy who can sing and play like that

it is true...i never thought this song would be able to be redone but he has achieved it. this is a great remake of a classic. and his voice is not raspy, onecreativemuse is right. its just from the compression of the video.

The reason his voice sounds 'raspy' is due to the compression algorithm used in preparing this video for the Web.
