damn, is he 'spun out' or what?....I loved Richard. Always honest and brutally funny but I look at clips like these and I cant imagine the pain he must have been in. And then when he cleaned up, we got an even more honest Ruchard. And his interviews always taught me something that I didnt know..

Richard probably got coerced into to doing a movie with the way less talented Gene Wilder. You can tell that he is disgruntled about being a second banana to to someone as mediocre as Wilder. Richard was a hilarious, socially relevant comedian. Wilder was just silly. I bet they edited Richard's best scenes out of the film to make Wilder look good. You can hear Richard talk about the film being edited in this video...
