What a horrible, cynical and manipulative film. Olbermann was 100% right in summing it up. The GOP has played the 9/11 card almost continuously since the day it happened; something of which they should be thoroughly ashamed. The people who died that day weren't exclusively Republican voters, nor were they exclusively centre right, or conservative. 9/11 was a crime against the *United States*, not just the red ones. How dare they exploit that atrocity in such a way.

Rumsfield met with Saddam in 83 and 84 while the U.S. admittedly knew of his use of biological weapons at that time and aided him in developing his chemical weapons program. We also supplied funds for Saddam during the Iraq Iran war. Looks like we were very much for meeting without preconditions here.
