Prick head old man is accusing someone that has something to say except for "yellow journalism" over and over like a trained monkey parrot for what he is doing. Fuck I cannot wait till the Baby Boomers and the Silent Generation are all in retirement homes on their psych meds.

Did anyone ever ponder on why he became the establishment years later? did it ever occur to you nuts to try to infiltrate the interior in order to desroy the system? i think thats what rubin tried to accomplish. "if you cant beat them, then join them"...then fuckin destroy them!

Abbie Hoffman would probably helping campus protests become big, working on student apathy.and Jerry Rubin would probably be on broadcast television , Using the "Media" and exposing it for what it is. (using the system against itself)

"In order to change the system you must become your system"Always blaming the controversial? if revolution were not hypocritical or controversial it would not be a revolution. like everyone say FUCK! FUCK the war. but...let's keep fuck a "bad word" so that it has this "power" to it. that's hypocritical but it's psychological warfare. Jerry rubin was a genius.

Always blaming America...This man became the system he criticized.

Probably not much different than how they reacted to the "swing to the right" back in November 1980 when we booted Carter from office. Then again we are talking about "winners" who jaywalk in LA (refer to Missing Persons song) and OD'd on coke.

Jerry died in 1994 in a car accident. I always wondered how him and Hoffman would have reacted to the right wing swing we have taken in the last decade.

Jerry is still alive, isn't he?? I know Abbie HOffman committed suicide but I thought Jerry was still alive. When did he die?

I always found it fascinating how much Rubin changed from the early seventies radical to a me generation self promoting capitalist. I think he is one of the most interesting of the sixties figures. Too bad he died so young.

this is incoherent, stalls several times, and is not in anyway a discussion |
