I agree, to an extent, although they're still more complex and talented than a lot of other bands. I think that York uses very effective phrasing, and I think the whole band puts a lot of emotion and energy into performance.

i have come to the conclusion that radiohead is much liked because of the overall mood and "feeling" you get when you listen to it rather than it's musical complexity or talent. some may say creating a mood is talent.... but meh... just my 2 cents.
