I have yet to find time to watch this film. You are right about Czech people. I am Polish and a few months ago I began to be interested in the music from the former Czechoslovakia. I find a lot of it great!

It was made after the invasion, in 1969. You can find here a comment from the director himself.

When this film made? I think before the soviet invasion of '68?

I just came across this & it's pretty neat. Glad it survived all those years. My dad's side of the family is Slovak & my grandparents & an Aunt & Uncle were born over there. So this kinda gives me an idea of where they came from.

Hello friend. Yes I lived in Prerov for almost 5 years. I visit there every year around November. I hang out at Bukacku and also 3 titties pub on Palacky ulice. Cheers!

The name "The road which leads to nowhere" had political sens (undertone). It was made in april 1969) - after invasion of Soviet Army in Prague.
