I know he is Scottish, I was just saying that I,m Irish and proud of it. And I like that Irish guy who says "It's my island!" in the movie.

its not irish music persay its more limited to boston area rock if you go down to the clubs there that post most bands its generally the same type of music styling and accent

your right wallace was scottish but he was quoting the irishman in the movie, Stephen. when they're in the woods he says "It's my Island!" and saying braveheart meant where the quote was from. yeesh

You know it's interesting. Compare the Murphys to the Script, the Coronas, or the Blizzards, (all bands from ireland) and the Murphys sound much more Irish. They might just be a bunch of drunks from Boston, but it sounds a lot better than most of the bland pop acts coming out of Ireland nowadays.

I love the vocals, the texts, the music, the banjo :>
