Cartoon Network ruined over 60 years of continuous Warner Brothers Loony Tunes- Merrie Melodies entertainment when they bought up every last one of them and stopped airing them. Utterly selfish attempt to get steer the public away from the brilliant mindset of these wonderful works of art. screw hanna barbera. it might be okay, but it cannot hold a candle to the wit and charm of Warner. not in a million years.

Oh man, Cartoon Network needs to go back to showing an hour/half hour of Looney Toons or whatever they used to do. Tom and Jerry may be great classics, but in terms of slapstick that'll make you laugh I think Looney Toons has more humor. I laughed quite a bit more than you'd expect from someone in college :)

It's all a part of the psychology of the struggle between good and evil in cartoons. The fundamental truth is that in the end, we know that no matter how bad it looks for the good guy he will end up winning the day. Plain and simple, if the Villain won and the Hero was defeated there simply wouldn't be any more story to continue with. (At least in serial stories like Thundercats etc)Episodes of Tom & Jerry where they end up becoming friends deviate from this, and is a welcomed reprieve...

I love how he's running at 5:38... he's TRUCKIN'!

Agree... I always wanted Mumm-Ra and Cobra Commander to win at least once, back in the day!

This is a classic!

Isn't it funny how in these cartoons you always side with the "villain"....I remember as a kid I always wanted the coyote to win; and in Tom and Jerry, I usually sided with Tom!
