whirl the egg - in a sling .. pointy end out .. then pointy end in .. see if that makes a difference to 'relative-ease-of-positioning' upright. Prolly not .. Put the egg in an ultrasonic cleaner tub .. emulsify the inside .. any difference? Again prolly not. Food for thought.

Now whats the scientific explanation behind that? Lol perhaps the yolk (being heavier) eventually sinks towards the bottom of the egg after all of the fiddling giving it a lower center of gravity making it a lot more stable. I have no idea, just a guess. Nice vids though
