You know, the Post-Robbie lineup reminds me of The Beatles. Not only in sound and tone, but:Gary's like John Lennon. Prolific songwriter and singer. Very skilled at piano (as shown)Mark is the Paul McCartney of Take That. He was usually the one the girls loved (dont get me wrong, the fans loved each guy).Howard is kinda like Ringo, the quiet/shy one who sings very well and has his following of fans.Jay is like George. Both are good singers/ guitarists and deserved to sing more!

Brian Harvey was the brains behind this band, how sad it was, him getting sacked from the band just for dropping one E.

It's very Beatlesque in sound and lyrics....Interesting during the second round of Take That how the members are sharing the songs they sing. I mean, Gary's good, but Mark was the one who was popular with the girls. Howard and Jason were for the older fans, but they all show their maturity as songwriters and singers.

I never took much interest in Take That the first time round but now I think they are brilliant and I love "Shine" as Mark Owen is so cute. True entertainers for all ages as I'm the very wrong side of 50!! Would love to see them live as I bet it's a fantastic show. |
