I have been listening to Marvin since he started making the national scene. Marvin Gaye was as a greatest singer that there could/would ever be. I am not an Afro-American person but for those that love the Lord and love their brother, one thing is for sure we don't ever know how we will leave this place and go to the next place but lets just hope that you have given your life to the Lord Jesus and at least then you WILL know where/what the next place will be. RIP "Marvin my Man" we love you

I'm not a brother but I know fine music when I hear it - heard this when it came out in '72. Loved it then, love it now. Rest in peace good soul.

I find it unfortunate that there were so many songs by Mr. Gaye that I was never able to hear since it was not a part of my generation. Whenever I think of my favorite singers of all time, I always forget of Mr. Gaye, but then, I remember that he was one of the most individual and prolific singers of the late 70s early 80s. Such a beautiful voice, such great talent, and such a great message sent by this song...Completely breaks my heart to know how he lived his last moments.
