well, the .45's projectile is huge it's just like shooting a smaller caliber it just has a big projectile on it. its the opisite of the .44 though cause the .44 as a small projectile but a bunch of powder. So accually a .45 isnt huge its just kinda inbetween but yes it would penetrate a helmet

Are you serious? 45 is a "small caliber"?!45 is .45 inches wide, thats what the caliber system is. its almost half an inch wide. small caliber would be a .22 or a .17holy shit

ok maybe a 45 can but not if ur wearing head armor a small caliber gun like th 1911 cant penetrate very far u need something like a desert eagle they are powerful enugh look them up they are realy good
