The Norweigian air froce rules, and just imagen when they buy the f-35 (joint strike fighter) from the US.

Lot of my friends went to MTSU.. Great flying school.. Will the Air Force take an "equivalent" instead of a degree? I thought it had to be degree or nothing..

Yeah no doubt. My brother graduated from the aerospace program at Middle Tennessee State U. Then to Air Force O.C.S. He is now a C-130 pilot. MTSU's flight school has an almost 93% flight school passing rate, one of the best in the country. Anyway, you do need a college degree or equivalent to fly in the Air Force.

I already knew I needed to be an Officer, but the rest is almost fresh advice, thanks for the input.

To fly an F-16 - at least in the US military - you must have a college degree.. No way around it.. For those of you thinking about talking to a recruiter - recruiters will lie to you to fill any slot they have open...If you want to fly in the US military, you need to get good grades in high school, major in a technical degree in college, blow the AFOQT out of the water and get commissioned into a service. If a recruiter tells you you can fly JETS as an enlistee - they are lying to you..

<_< Maybe we shouldn't spam up with video with these reponses. I would be getting my Two year in May (also my birth month). But I've come into tough times since I started two years ago. My brother died in a car accident as well as new family members and I couldn't really concentrate/lost motivation..kind of wish I had that degree about now though.
