new toshiba inverter system is no where near as noisy as the one on the video, very very silent, i can prove it by uploading a video of my system for you to see for your self !! ( ps my model is ras-m10nkv-e )had it just over a year now and am very pleased with it.

at least its not as bad as my window rattler,BANG BANG BANG BANG BANG BANG 1 every second and it makes the floor shakeBut it doesnt half kick out cold air! Do what i do, wait till it goes bang, then get a new one!

yeh daikin would have been good if you wanna have a cassette or ceiling suspended type IDU for this size that is... multi split is very expensive (VRV-II or VRV-III)

check the fan mount and compressor vibration eliminators (rubber pads at the base).. check required voltage for compressor and your power supply also check running amps and suction pressure... ive heard comps. hum before before becoz of low voltage power supply... cheers n keep me posted :)

Almost all of the noise is in the Inverter Mode!n the A/C constant speed mode the noise is mostly an air rushing sound.Initally Carrier/Toshiba thought the fan was not pitched correctly causing backpressure and hunting, they replaced the fan unit - there was no improvement!The unit has been shifted to the backyard, however this has only served to move the noise problem, not resolve it!The clanging banging is getting worse! |
