no. the objects in vegas are currently limited to two axis planes of video or image sequence source materials, kind of like 2.5D, if you want more, then try boris red for vegas. or if you want a free solution that is actually more powerfull, get blender! this feature is great though for brining together several layers of material and having a little parallax motion. but most of this work is faster and easier in the nodal compositor of blender, boris red, after effects.....

i have all sony vegas except 8.0b pro and 9.0 platinum edition but, on my best: sony vegas platinum edition 8.0 version B i cant do 3d effect i can only use: multiply mask and Source Alpha. Please help me!
