Like to see good talent. but why do the winners all need a soap opera drama around them to sell the show? Maybe no one would watch?

Neal, you were my man from the start. I was SOOOOOO thrilled when they announced you as winner. It says a lot for the true honesty of this show. Anyway, you deserve it, you got it, and THANK YOU ... for sharing it!Peace!Patio Patty

The song is "Nessun Dorma". It is a classical piece composed by Giacomo Puccini and many singers have done it, including Lucianno Pavarotti.

The comparisons to Paul Potts is obvious and I'm sure it was in the minds of the judges on the panel.Still, there are a lot of differences. Neal's voice is a much closer match to Luciano Pavarotti. The timbre and range is very similar. Neal's voice is still raw and he was fighting his emotions and nerves, but with a bit more training and confidence, look out. He's only going to get better.I look forward to seeing how his career unfolds.
