It's so beautiful. I wish I could learn how to hula; sadly I can't find any place that would offer classes near by :/

This was truly beautiful- thanks for posting. To 'PerfectlyDesigned':It seems to me that the Europeans who came across Polynesia a few centuries agohad difficulties wrapping their minds around the idea of having found Paradise:Man supposedly had been thrown out of it.And so they went about to set the record straight...People who know nothing of life will develope a fascination with death. As a result, they will not be able to appreciate any celebration of life, nor of its beauty...

It's called an ipu heke (EE-POOH HECK-AY). It's made from two gourds. Made specifically for hula. Nice sound, fab resonance, huh?Oh my goodness...Ya Just Gotta Love it!!!

BTW it is very sacred and religious and I am sexually aroused, but this is life and what could be more sacred than creating life? Mahalo to the wahine u'i o Hawaii for sharing their indescribable beauty and POWER!!
