I can hear the difference but do you think John was accompanying the solo? I do. I hear "his" sound underneath Omar's solo. What a BEAUTIFUL song this overall. It's "brand new" to me each listen and I absolutely melt with the conjunction of the sounds. Perfect balance and just so good.
